Evolution breeze made by Gottifredi Maffioli has a multi filament polypropylene core and a melange style polyester and Technora cover. Unlike most braids the strength comes from the cover so the rope is ideal for endless splices but unlike some ropes the outer strands do not open easily.
The melange style of cover is not only for appearance it also balances the load on the cover and gives the rope good abrasion resistance.
